4 Tips for Choosing Nursery Wall Art
Posted by Stephanie Barfield on
Do you have a baby on the way? If so, we are sure you have been spending time prepping a nursery for your new little one.
1. Pick art that you like to look at
Yes, this bedroom is for the baby. But your baby won’t be able to enjoy the wall art for a few years. So make sure to choose art that you find comforting and enjoyable to look at. Think animals, inspiring quotes, etc,.
2. Choose art that they will grow into
This will likely be their bedroom for years to come. Choose something that they will grow to love as they get older. Think neutral tones, animal photos, etc,.
3. Mix and match
Can’t decide on a theme? Don’t worry. Gallery walls are popular! Mix and match framed prints, canvas prints, family photos, pieces of art, etc. The easiest way to make sure all these random pieces work together is to make sure at least one or two of the same colors are displayed in all of the pieces!
4. Don’t overthink it
Decorating the Nursery is supposed to be a fun experience, so don’t get stressed when it comes to making it exactly perfect. Have some fun with it. Choose colors and prints that catch your eye and remember that nothing is permanent and you can change decor items whenever you like.
